Regular Season Round 3: Kongsberg - Gimle 83-69

Kongsberg used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Bergen 83-69 on Saturday night. Kongsberg made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Jordan Roberts (206, college: LBSU, agency: GoEmpire Group) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Guard William Lybaek (188-1997, college: Peru St.) accounted for 15 points for the winning side. Kongsberg's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Serbian-Montenegrin center Milovan Savic (205-1987) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international point guard Reidar Greve (184-2002) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Gimle in the defeat. Four Gimle players scored in double figures. Kongsberg will meet Asker Aliens (#7) on the road in the next round. Gimle will play against Nidaros Jets and hope to win that game.
