Regular Season Round 3: Rio Breogan - Manresa 85-89

There was a minor upset in Lugo where Rio Breogan (1-2) was defeated by Manresa (1-2) 89-85. It was a good game for international point guard Daniel Perez (184-1990) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 6 assists. American forward Devin Robinson (203-1995, college: Florida) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) for the winners. Point guard Sergi Quintela (185-1996) answered with 14 points and 5 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Senegalese-Italian forward Mouhamet Diouf (206-2001) added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Rio Breogan. Five Manresa and four Rio Breogan players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Manresa will play against Zaragoza (#10) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rio Breogan will play against Tenerife to get more than just one victory in their record.
