Regular Season Round 3: Zgierz - UMK Torun 63-85

No shocking result in a game when UMK Torun (3-0) smashed on the road Zgierz (0-2) 85-63 on Wednesday. UMK Torun made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. UMK Torun outrebounded Zgierz 41-25 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for point guard Mikolaj Ratajczak (195-1997) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points and 9 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. UMK Torun will meet at home Tarnowo Podg. in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Zgierz will play against Pabianice (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
