Regular Season Round 3: Giants B - LDP Donza 76-87

There was no surprise in Antwerp where Giants B (0-3) was defeated by LDP Donza (2-1) 87-76 on Friday. LDP Donza dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Giants B's 24. It was a great evening for guard Cedric Dedecker (183-2000) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points. Center Rik Van den Berghe (206-1993) helped adding 15 points. Four LDP Donza players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was center Seppe Willems (202-1999) with 29 points and 9 rebounds and forward Vince Van Cleemput (198-2002) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. LDP Donza will meet at home Oxaco (#6) in the next round. Giants B will play against Spirou B and hopes to get finally their first victory.
