Very significant was Armann's 64-point road victory against IR 109-45. Armann dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to IR's 28. Armann forced 42 IR turnovers and outrebounded them 57-29 including a 31-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by IR's players. Guard Jonina Karlsdottir (170-1999) nailed 31 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and forward Fanney Ragnarsdottir (172-1996) accounted for 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Armann's coach Karl Gudlaugsson felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Pordis Hjorleifsdottir (179-2001) came up with 8 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Oddny Echegaray (166-2006) added 12 points respectively for IR in the defeat.
