Rather predictable result when eleventh ranked Le Mans (3-3) defeated at home 14th ranked SIG Strasbourg (1-3) 86-78 on Saturday. Le Mans made 23-of-26 free shots (88.5 percent) during the game. Le Mans outrebounded SIG Strasbourg 43-29 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Abdoulaye NDoye (198-1998) who scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. American guard DeVante Jones (186-1998, college: Michigan) chipped in 23 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). At the other side the best for losing team was the former international guard Paul Lacombe (198-1990) who recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and American Phil Booth (190-1995, college: Villanova) added 19 points and 4 assists respectively.
