There was a surprise result when Omegna (1-1) defeated on the road Rieti Kienergia (1-2) 80-63 on Wednesday. It was a great evening for forward Marco Torgano (200-1991, agency: SLN) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 6 rebounds. Naturalized Swiss power forward Patrick Baldassarre (201-1986, agency: Players Group) helped adding 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Omegna players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Mattia Da Campo (198-1997, college: Seattle) with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized Serbian Nikola Markovic (197-2000) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Omegna will meet at home Legnano (#12) in the next round. Rieti Kienergia will play against Desio (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
