But Zornotza was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Zamora 80-73 on Saturday night. They made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. American-Jamaican guard Jahvaughn Powell (183-1996, college: Nicholls St., agency: Helping Ballers) notched 28 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Toni Naspler (196-2003) supported him with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 12 points and 9 rebounds by power forward Alejandro Mazaira (202-1997) did not help to save the game for Zornotza. Point guard Alonso Meana (180-2000, college: UIS) added 14 points and 4 assists for the hosts. Four Zornotza players scored in double figures. Zornotza's coach Mikel Garita Onandia rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Zamora will meet at home Huesca in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
