There was an upset when higher ranked Omegna (1-2) lost at home to twelfth ranked Legnano (2-2) 78-69 on Saturday. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The winners were led by guard Alberto Fragonara (186-2004) who scored that evening 17 points and guard Tommaso Marino (189-1986, agency: SLN) supported him with 14 points and 5 assists. Even a double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) by center Jacopo Balanzoni (205-1993, agency: SLN) did not help to save the game for Omegna. Swingman Riccardo Chinellato (198-2000, agency: SLN) added 9 points for lost side. Legnano keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 12 other teams. Loser Omegna dropped to the twelfth place with two games lost. They share the position with Padova V. and Crema.
