Regular Season Round 7: Blois - Dijon 68-56

There was no surprise when 12th ranked Dijon (2-5) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Blois (5-2) 68-56 on Saturday. Blois forced 24 Dijon turnovers. It was a great evening for Ivorian forward Dominique Diomande (197-2005) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Nilson Morgan Djengbot (188) helped adding 12 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. At the losing side forward Marius Balanca (200-2004) responded with 18 points and 5 rebounds and guard Mathys Kangudia (188-2004) scored 10 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Blois moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Nanterre and Bourg. Dijon lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Blois will meet Levallois (#16) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Dijon will play against Chalon/Saone and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
