Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both thirteenth ranked ADA Blois and 14th ranked JDA Dijon had identical 2-4 record. This time ADA Blois used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Dijon 85-84 on Saturday night. It was a great evening for point guard Milan Barbitch (196-2001) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his seven free throws). American guard Tobin Carberry (193-1991, college: LIU Post) helped adding 17 points and 4 assists. Carberry is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side Slovenian Gregor Hrovat (196-1994, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 28 points and 4 assists and Bosnian forward Aleksandar Lazic (203-1996) scored 13 points. JDA Dijon's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. ADA Blois (3-4) moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Le Mans. Loser JDA Dijon keeps the fourteenth position with five games lost. They share it with Roanne and Le Portel. ADA Blois will meet bottom-ranked Metropolitans (#18) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. JDA Dijon will play against Chalon/Saor (#9) and hope to secure a win.
