There was an upset when top-ranked Montecatini (2-2) lost on the road to seventeenth ranked Crema (1-2) 68-64 on Sunday. The winners were led by naturalized Serbian power forward Arsenije Stepanovic (206-2000) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from downtown making all five shots) and naturalized Belarusian Kiryl Tsetserukou (201-2001) supported him with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Even 14 points and 8 rebounds by Lorenzo Passoni (197-1997) did not help to save the game for Montecatini. Forward Federico Pirani (203-2002) added 15 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Four Montecatini players scored in double figures. Crema left bottom position moving up to twelfth place, which they share with Omegna and Padova V. Loser Montecatini still keeps top position with two games lost. They share it with 12 other teams. Crema will meet higher ranked Livorno Libertas (#8) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Montecatini will play against the league's leader Brianza Casa (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
