Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Milano Urania and 9th ranked Vigevano had identical 1-2 record. But Vigevano was not able to use a home court advantage and was rolled over by the opponent from Milano 100-81 on Sunday night. Strangely Vigevano outrebounded Milano Urania 41-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 51.5 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Andrea Amato (190-1994) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 8 assists and point guard Matteo Montano (190-1992) who added 22 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American Tyler Wideman (203-1995, college: Butler) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Leonardo Battistini (198-1995) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Milano Urania (2-2) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 6 other teams. Newly promoted Vigevano keeps the ninth position with three games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Milano Urania will meet at home Latina (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Vigevano will play against Juvi Cremona and hope to win that game.
