Regular Season Round 3: Alpicat - Mataro Parc 75-91

Very expected game when Alpicat (0-3) was defeated at home by Mataro Parc (3-0) 91-75 on Sunday. Mataro Parc outrebounded Alpicat 38-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was point guard Pol Bassas (184-1995) who scored 9 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Imanol Martinez (195-2000) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Mataro Parc players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Jordi Bergada (188-1999) who recorded 16 points and 4 assists and Arnau Garrabe (198-1997) added 18 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Mataro Parc will meet at home Inca (#13) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Alpicat will play against El Olivar in Zaragoza and hopes to get finally their first victory.
