Regular Season Round 4: Split - Dinamo 74-60

The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Split as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Split defeated their biggest opponent Dinamo at home 74-60. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Dinamo. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Split forced 21 Dinamo turnovers. 28 personal fouls committed by Dinamo helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Boris Tisma (205-2002) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and international guard Toni Perkovic (191-1998, agency: AltusBasket) who added 11 points and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side forward Hrvoje Garafolic (196-1990) responded with 14 points and swingman Ivan Vucic (195-1996) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Split have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Zadar. Dinamo at the other side dropped to the third place with one game lost. They share the position with Cibona. Dinamo will play next round against Cedevita Jr. trying to get back on the winning streak. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Zagreb - Cedevita Jr.. Split will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Dubrava in Zagreb.
