The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Enea Astoria as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Enea Astoria defeated 8th ranked GKS in Bydgoszcz 72-65. It was a good game for forward Damian Jeszke (202-1995) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Piotr Winkowski (207-2003) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Maciej Koperski (190-1999) replied with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Pawel Zmarlak (195-1982) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for GKS. Five GKS players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Walbrzych and Krosno. GKS at the other side keeps the eighth place with three games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. GKS will play next round against strong Miast Szkla trying to get back on the winning streak. Enea Astoria will try to continue on its current victory against eleventh ranked AZS PO in Opole.
