Regular Season Round 6: Team4Q - IK Eos 2 71-48

Bottom-ranked IK Eos 2 is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to tenth ranked Team4Q (2-3) 71-48 on Wednesday evening. Team4Q dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to IK Eos 2's 24. Team4Q forced 21 IK Eos 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 49-36 including 36 on the defensive glass. Guard Billy Andersson (193-1989) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and Sasa Vural supported him with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Team4Q players scored in double figures. Even 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists by Elias Hadir did not help to save the game for IK Eos 2. Albert Grubb added 12 points and 6 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Team4Q moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Akersberga. Newly promoted IK Eos 2 still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Kalmar 2. Team4Q will meet higher ranked Nassjo 2 (#3) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. IK Eos 2 will play against Kalmar 2 (#13) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
