An interesting game for Keflavik (5-0) which played road game in Hafnarfjordur against 4th placed Haukar (3-2). Leader Keflavik managed to get a 12-point victory 93-81. Keflavik players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Venezuelan Daniela Morillo (179-1995, college: Okla City) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the winners and international Anna Svansdottir (175-2001) chipped in 19 points. Five Keflavik players scored in double figures. American guard Keira Robinson (170-1994, college: VCU) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and international guard Tinna Alexandersdottir (177-2003) scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. Keflavik have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 5-0 record. Haukar at the other side keeps the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with Valur. Keflavik will play against bottom-ranked Snaefell (#10) in Stykkisholmur in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Haukar will play at home against Grindavik (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
