Regular Season Round 6: Ammerud Bskt - Asker Aliens 81-112

Bottom-ranked Ammerud Bskt is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to seventh ranked Asker Aliens (3-4) 112-81 on Thursday evening. Asker Aliens made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Asker Aliens outrebounded Ammerud Bskt 39-25 including 30 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American center Amadi Ikpeze (208, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: GoEmpire Group) notched a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!) to lead the effort and the other American import guard Joshua Hart (194-1990, college: Va Intermont) supported him with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Four Asker Aliens players scored in double figures. Even 25 points and 5 rebounds by Swedish swingman Mustafa Dibba (186-1995) did not help to save the game for Ammerud Bskt. Guard Jacob Roysland (-1999) added 19 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Asker Aliens went down to eighth position due to points difference. Loser Ammerud Bskt still closes the standings with seven games lost. Asker Aliens will meet at home league's leader Froya Basket in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Ammerud Bskt will have a break next round.
