Regular Season Round 6: Hyeres-Toulon - Pole France 82-47

Very expected game when 11th ranked CFBB (1-4) was smashed on the road by fifth ranked Hyeres-Toulon (4-2) 82-47 on Friday. Hyeres-Toulon dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 28. Hyeres-Toulon forced 23 CFBB turnovers and had a 24-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Power forward Quentin Losser (202-1999) notched 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots) to lead the effort and swingman Junior Ouattara (191-2000) supported him with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Hyeres-Toulon players scored in double figures. Even 9 points and 5 rebounds by Jonas Boulefaa (203-2007) did not help to save the game for CFBB. Point guard Nolan Traore (190-2006) added 9 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hyeres-Toulon moved-up to second place, which they share with 9 other teams. Loser CFBB dropped to the twelfth position with four games lost. Hyeres-Toulon will meet SOPCC (#14) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. CFBB will play against SO Maritime Boulogne and hope to win that game.
