Undefeated leader Villeneuve delivered the fifth consecutive win on Saturday night. This time they crushed 7th ranked Angers (2-3) 89-67. Villeneuve shot 61.4 percent from the field. Villeneuve had a 30-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Villeneuve especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. The best player for the winners was American guard Kamiah Smalls (178-1998, college: JMU) who scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. International forward Janelle Salaun (186-2001) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. American swingman Jasmine Bailey (176-1990, college: UIC) produced 14 points and 6 assists and Guinean forward Masseny Kaba (191-1998, college: UCF) added 16 points respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Angers' coach Aurelie Bonnan gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.
