Regular Season Round 4: Mataro Parc - Inca 90-69
Date: October 21, 2023
Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Inca (0-4) was outplayed on the road by top-ranked Mataro Parc (4-0) 90-69 on Saturday. Mataro Parc looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Adrian Sanchez (200-1994) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Bernat Alvarez (176-1995) who added 12 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Mataro Parc players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Michael Enabulele (200-2006) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds and forward Xavi Andreu (197-2001, college: Spalding) scored 12 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mataro Parc have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 14 other teams. Newly promoted Inca still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with 15 other teams. Mataro Parc will meet Granollers (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Inca will play against El Olivar (#10) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
