Very important is a road loss of second ranked Miast Szkla (5-2) against tenth ranked GKS (4-3) on Saturday night. Visiting Miast Szkla was defeated by GKS in a tough game in Tychy 87-93. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Miast Szkla. GKS players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Sebastian Bozenko (183-1998) who led the winners and scored 19 points. Swingman Maciej Koperski (190-1999) accounted for 12 points and 7 assists for the winning side. American guard Myles Rasnick (185-1999, college: Maryville, TN) came up with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and center Przemyslaw Wrona (205-1993) added 16 points respectively for Miast Szkla in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. GKS moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Miast Szkla at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. They share it with Bydgoszcz. GKS will play against league's leader Gornik in Walbrzych in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Miast Szkla will play on the road against the league's second-placed Enea Astoria in Bydgoszcz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
