No shocking result in a game when thirteenth ranked ADA Blois (4-4) beat bottom-ranked Metropolitans (0-8) in Levallois 87-81 on Saturday. ADA Blois made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American guard Tobin Carberry (193-1991, college: LIU Post) who scored that evening 18 points and 5 assists and point guard Milan Barbitch (196-2001) supported him with 15 points and 5 assists. Carberry is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five ADA Blois players scored in double figures. ADA Blois' coach Mickael Hay used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 13 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) by American forward Fabian White Jr (203-1998, college: Houston) did not help to save the game for Metropolitans. His fellow American import power forward Josh Carlton (211-1999, college: Houston) added 13 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. ADA Blois moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Limoges and Chalon/Saone. Loser Metropolitans still closes the standings with eight games lost. They share the position with Gravelines. ADA Blois will meet at home higher ranked Sluc Nancy (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Metropolitans will play against Le Portel (#15) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
