Cordoba CB dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Cimbis' 24. At the losing side power forward Carlos Galan (201-2002) responded with 20 points and 7 rebounds and Croatian forward Lovro Sibenik (204-1999, agency: Interperformances) scored 8 points and 7 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cordoba CB (1-3) left bottom position moving up to ninth place, which they share with 24 other teams. It was Cimbis' fourth loss in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. They share the position with 15 other teams. Cordoba CB will meet higher ranked Aljaraque (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Cimbis will play against Badajoz Vitaly (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
