Regular Season Round 7: Fryshuset - Malbas 88-84

There was no surprise in Stockholm where 10th ranked Malbas (3-4) were defeated by sixth ranked Fryshuset (5-3) 88-84 on Sunday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Fryshuset shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Montenegrin center Miki Novovic (208-1992) fired 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Guard Nathaniel Nzonyansi (178-2006) chipped in 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Fryshuset's coach Magnus Wihlborg used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Naturalized Italian Ludwig Tilliander (196-2001) produced 20 points and 8 rebounds and guard Jacob Mansson (199-2002, college: NJIT) added 18 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fryshuset moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Djurgarden. Newly promoted Malbas keep the tenth position with four games lost. Fryshuset will again meet Malbas (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Malbas will have a break next round.
