There was no surprise when 14th ranked Imola (1-4) was defeated on the road by third ranked San Severo (4-1) 90-85 on Sunday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The best player for the winners was Serbian guard Djordje Pazin (197-2001) who scored 25 points. Argentinian point guard Stefano Pierotti (185-1998) chipped in 22 points and 4 assists. Swingman Nunzio Corcelli (188-1991) produced 28 points and guard Gian Drocker (186-2001) added 19 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. San Severo keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams.
