The game between Top Four teams took place in Grodno. Second ranked host Grodno (5-1) smashed 3rd placed Tsmoki II (3-3) 96-66. Grodno dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Tsmoki II's 26. Grodno forced 19 Tsmoki II turnovers and outrebounded them 40-26 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Tsmoki II's players. It was a great evening for the former international guard Kirill Sitnik (190-1989) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 6 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Ilya Sharipov (198-1991) helped adding 23 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Vitali Duchko (-2006) responded with 12 points and 9 rebounds and the former international point guard Roman Scherbakov (184-2003) scored 14 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Grodno maintains second place with 5-1 record behind leader Rubon II. Tsmoki II at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. They share it with Rubon. Grodno are looking forward to face Impuls (#5) in Minsk in the next round. Tsmoki II will play on the road against Gomel and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
