The game between closely ranked teams ended with seventh ranked RGUOR's (2-2) home victory over 8th ranked Victoria (1-5) 87-48 on Wednesday. RGUOR dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Victoria's 26. RGUOR forced 32 Victoria turnovers and outrebounded them 54-39 including a 23-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for Darya Degtyareva (-2007) who led her team to a victory scoring 18 points and 9 rebounds. Olga Trigribtseva (-2007) helped adding 16 points and 11 rebounds. Five RGUOR players scored in double figures. At the losing side Daria Trus (-2008) responded with 5 points and 12 rebounds and Elizaveta Saboida (-2009) scored 11 points. Victoria's coach Elena Skrobko gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. RGUOR moved-up to sixth place. Victoria lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. RGUOR's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Minsk Gorizont 2.
