Real Betis has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Melilla, where they defeated Melilla (1-3) 87-83. The winners were led by Croatian point guard Roko Rogic (187-1992) who scored that evening 20 points and 7 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Cuban-Puerto Rican center Ismael Romero (205-1991) supported him with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Even a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds by American forward Hasan Varence (198-1997, college: Ohio Dominican) did not help to save the game for Melilla. Haitian-American forward Marc-Eddy Norelia (203-1993, college: FGCU) added 15 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Five Real Betis and four Melilla players scored in double figures. Melilla's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.
