Regular Season Round 4: Sindri - Armann 93-74

Bottom-ranked Armann is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to sixth ranked Sindri (2-2) 93-74 on Friday evening. Sindri made 21-of-21 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. They also forced 20 Armann turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by Spanish forward Juan Luis Navarro (198-1991) who scored that evening 21 points and 8 rebounds and Spanish guard Lucas Antunez (191-1995, college: Toledo) supported him with 18 points and 7 assists. Even 20 points and 7 rebounds by American forward Devaughn Jenkins (201-1995, college: Angelo St.) did not help to save the game for Armann. Forward Egill Agnarsson (190-2002) added 14 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sindri moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Skallagrimur and IA. Loser Armann still closes the standings with four games lost. Sindri will meet Skallagrimur (#6) in the next round. Armann will play against Snaefell (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
