Very important is a road loss of third ranked Caen (4-3) against fourth ranked Avignon/Pontet (5-2) on Friday night. Visiting Caen was defeated by Avignon/Pontet in a tough game in Avignon 90-97. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Avignon/Pontet forced 23 Caen turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists.
