Very important is a road loss of third ranked Caen (4-3) against fourth ranked Avignon/Pontet (5-2) on Friday night. Visiting Caen was defeated by Avignon/Pontet in a tough game in Avignon 90-97. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Avignon/Pontet forced 23 Caen turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Bahamas point guard Domnick Bridgewater (178-2000) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 assists for the winners. Avignon/Pontet keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 5 other teams. Caen at the other side dropped to the fourth place with three games lost.
