There was an upset in Paris where higher ranked SO Maritime Boulogne (4-3) was defeated by twelfth ranked CFBB (2-4) 81-76 on Friday. Strangely SO Maritime Boulogne outrebounded CFBB 39-27 including 24 on the defensive glass. Point guard Nolan Traore (190-2006) fired 29 points and 9 assists for the winners. Point guard Talis Soulhac (186-2006) chipped in 18 points. Four CFBB players scored in double figures. Bahamas Aaron Levarity (203-1997, college: Milligan) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds and Cedric Andre (202-1993) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. SO Maritime Boulogne's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. CFBB moved-up to eleventh place. SO Maritime Boulogne at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with 6 other teams. CFBB will meet higher ranked STB Le Havre (#10) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. SO Maritime Boulogne will play against SOPCC (#14) and hope to secure a win.
