Ensino can celebrate their first win this season after four consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Vitoria-Gasteiz, where they edged Araski (0-5) 71-68. American-U.S. Virgin Islands swingman Imani Tate (175-1995, college: Albany) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Ane Olaeta (163, college: CBU) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Dutch guard Natalie Van Den Adel (185-1990, college: Colorado St.) answered with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Mozambican forward Tamara Seda (193-1994, college: UTEP) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Araski. Four Araski players scored in double figures. Ensino (1-4) left bottom position moving up to thirteenth place. It was Araski's fifth loss in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Celta Zorka and Bembibre. Ensino will play against higher ranked Cadi La Seu (#12) in Seu D'urgell in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Araski will play on the road against Celta Zorka in Vigo and hopes to get finally their first victory.
