No shocking result in a game when leader Archena (4-0) crushed 7th ranked Carolinas (2-3) in Murcia 103-58 on Saturday. Archena dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Carolinas' 30. They outrebounded Carolinas 44-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. Archena looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Carolinas' players. Chadian center Placide Nakidjim (205-1994) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and Alejandro Tendero (200-2002) accounted for 23 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Four Archena players scored in double figures. Beninese forward Nathan Cledjo (198-2000) came up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and Alejandro Blazquez (-2001) added 7 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Carolinas in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Archena.
