Regular Season Round 4: Albacete - Melilla 63-68

There was a minor upset when higher ranked Albacete (2-2) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Melilla (2-2) 68-63 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Jaxon Knotek (198-2000, college: American, agency: Promo Sport ID) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and naturalized Senegalese power forward Serigne Ndiaye (204-1998) who added 11 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side guard Jorge Martinez (187-1996) responded with 16 points and 9 rebounds and forward Diego De Blas (198-2000) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Melilla moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 8 other teams including defeated Albacete. Melilla will meet at home league's second-placed Zamora in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Albacete will play against Alcala and hope to secure a win and be promoted back to the LEB Gold just one year after relegation.
