Regular Season Round 8: Bielsko-Biala - Wisla Krakow 103-92

There was no surprise when 16th ranked Wisla Krakow (1-6) was defeated on the road by second ranked Bielsko-Biala (7-1) 103-92 on Saturday. Bielsko-Biala looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Bielsko-Biala made 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was point guard Wojciech Zub (181-1995) who scored 23 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Center Szymon Lukasiak (205-1987, college: Jacksonville) chipped in 21 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Bielsko-Biala's coach Grzegorz Blotko used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Sebastian Dabek (188-1996) produced 33 points (!!!) and 5 assists and guard Igor Krzystek (195-2006) added 23 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Four Bielsko-Biala and five Wisla Krakow players scored in double figures. Bielsko-Biala have an impressive five-game winning streak.
