Regular Season Round 4: Chania - PAOK 62-81

Very expected game when bottom-ranked Chania (0-4) was crushed at home by seventh ranked PAOK (2-2) 81-62 on Sunday. PAOK forced 19 Chania turnovers and outrebounded them 48-33 including 37 on the defensive glass. American guard Morgan Jones (188-1999, college: Louisville) fired a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds for the winners. The other American import guard Keiunna Walker (168, college: La Tech) chipped in 29 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. American forward Shyia Smith (180, college: UT Arlington) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds and U.S. Virgin Islands guard Taylor Jones (173-1997, college: Oakland) added 19 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. PAOK moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Esperides and Niki Lefkadas. Loser Chania still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Athinaikos. PAOK will meet at home Athinaikos (#11) in the next round where they are favorite. Chania will play against Giannena and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
