The most exciting game of round 9 in the Betclic ELITE ProA took place in Cholet. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked JSF Nanterre (5-4) to fourth ranked Cholet Basket (6-2) 70-67 on Sunday evening. Center Neal Sako (210-1998) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and point guard Gerald Ayayi (188-2001) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. Four Cholet Basket players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Cholet Basket have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 6-2 record. JSF Nanterre at the other side dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Limoges and Blois. Cholet Basket are looking forward to face Le Portel (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. JSF Nanterre will play against Saint-Quentin (#10) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
