Everything could happen in Sevilla at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Gymnastica and 12th ranked Real Betis 2 had identical 1-3 record. But Real Betis 2 was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from El Puerto de Santa Maria 99-92 on Sunday night. It was a great shooting night for Gymnastica especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Power forward Jonathan Enriquez (197-1989) nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and American-Nigerian Manny Ogunfolu (201-1989, college: S.Indiana, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). French guard Iliam Fevry (188-2006) came up with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and Alfonso Rodriguez added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Real Betis 2 in the defeat. Five Gymnastica and four Real Betis 2 players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Gymnastica (2-3) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 31 other teams. Real Betis 2 lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with four games lost. They share it with 17 other teams. Gymnastica will meet at home Badajoz Acad. (#9) in the next round. Real Betis 2 will play against Penarroya and hope to win that game.
