The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Rybnik as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Rybnik defeated 6th ranked UR Krakow at home 79-74. UR Krakow was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by point guard Kacper Wydra (180-2000) who scored that evening 20 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals and point guard Marcin Kosiorowski (181-2005) supported him with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Four Rybnik players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds by Michal Szwedo (200-1997) did not help to save the game for UR Krakow.
