An interesting game was also a 20-point tough home defeat of Mega in a game in Tbilisi versus Kutaisi (#8) 110-90. The game was mostly controlled by Kutaisi. Mega managed to win fourth quarter 33-27. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They shot 63.8 percent from the field. Kutaisi looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists comparing to just 20 passes made by Mega's players. It was an exceptional evening for the former international power forward Giorgi Korsantia (207-1998, agency: BIG) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. The former international forward Mikhail Berishvili (204-1987) accounted for 17 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) for the winning side. American center Tyshaun Crawford (216-1999, college: Augusta) came up with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field) and the other American import point guard Michael Mays (178, college: King) added 24 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Mega in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
