Bottom-ranked LatvianJurmala is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their third consecutive match to seventh ranked Lithuanian Aistes-LSMU (2-1) 77-57 on Friday evening. Aistes-LSMU outrebounded Jurmala 49-27 including a 38-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Aistes-LSMU looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Jurmala 's players. The winners were led by Gintare Paulauskaite (185-1995) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Gedvile Savostaite (180-2002) supported her with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Aistes-LSMU's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 26 points and 7 rebounds by Latvian guard Zozefine Sipolina (173-2005) did not help to save the game for Jurmala . Latvian Aleksa Purmale (177-2001) added 9 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Aistes-LSMU moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Siauliai. Jurmala at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. They share the position with BJBS Riga.
