Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both seventeenth rankedProvence Basket and bottom-ranked Poitiers had identical 0-4 record. But Poitiers was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Fos-sur-Mer 78-72 on Friday night. Power forward Vincent Vent (207-1997) nailed 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winning side and point guard Timothe Crusol (192-2001) accounted for 16 points and 7 assists. Provence Basket (1-4) left bottom position moving up to fifteenth place, which they share with Chalons-Reims and Angers. It was Poitiers ' fifth loss in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with five games lost.
