Very expected game when 16th rankedPicken Claret (1-7) lost to sixth ranked Alcobendas (5-3) in Valencia 49-55 on Saturday. Alcobendas made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American forward Brianna Herlihy (183-1998, college: Villanova) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Clara Rodriguez (184-1996) supported her with 9 points and 9 rebounds. Even 6 points and 14 rebounds by American forward AeRianna Harris (185-1998, college: Purdue) did not help to save the game for Picken Claret . Portuguese forward Mariana Silva (184-1999) added 9 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Alcobendas moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Joventut and Estepona. Picken Claret lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with seven games lost. They share it with Melilla.
