Regular Season Round 4: Ostersund - Mark 67-58

Date: November 4, 2023
Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Ostersund and 7th ranked Mark had identical 1-2 record. This time Ostersund used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Kinna 67-58 on Saturday night. Ostersund outrebounded Mark 47-31 including a 37-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by American Jessica Kelliher (183-1997, college: Lewis) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Astrid Sandberg (180-2003) supported her with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Even 20 points by American guard Aaliyah Dunham (165-1999, college: Marshall) did not help to save the game for Mark. Danish forward Karoline Lundin (179-2004) added 11 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Ostersund (2-2) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Hogsbo and Sjuharads. Loser Mark dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Ostersund will meet Visby (#9) on the road in the next round. Mark will play against Norrkoping and hope to win that game.
