Regular Season Round 9: Quimper - Loon-Plage 65-60

The game had a very big importance for third-rankedQuimper UJAP as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Quimper UJAP defeated second-best Loon-Plage at home 65-60 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Loon-Plage. It was a key game for the top position in the league. It was a good game for Kenyan-American forward Joel Awich (201-1993, college: Cal Poly) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Antoine Dudit (181-1997) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Quimper UJAP's coach Thibault Wolicki used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Jordan Robertson (190-1996, college: Colgate) answered with 12 points and 6 assists and point guard Paul-Lou Duwiquet (194-1995) added 13 points in the effort for Loon-Plage. Quimper UJAP have a solid series of four victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Rennes. Loon-Plage at the other side still keeps top place with three games lost. They share the position with 5 other teams.
