Regular Season Round 9: Kalmar - RIG Mark 70-79

Very expected game when 16th ranked Kalmar (1-8) lost at home to twelfth ranked RIG Mark (3-7) 79-70 on Saturday. Guard Benjamin Musoke (196-2006) nailed a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and center Samuel Obenjo (197-2006) accounted for 12 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four RIG Mark players scored in double figures. Guard Hampus Andersson (180-2001) came up with 23 points and Malte Eriksson added 21 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) respectively for Kalmar in the defeat. Despite that victory RIG Mark went down to thirteenth position due to points difference. Loser Kalmar stay at the bottom place with eight games lost. RIG Mark will meet at home higher ranked Djurgarden (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kalmar will play against Fryshuset (#3) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
