Rather predictable result when eighth rankedSamobor (3-2) edged 10th ranked Marsonia (1-4) in Slavonski Brod 81-79 on Saturday. Samobor made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Samobor outrebounded Marsonia 50-28 including a 22-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. The former international Krunoslav Simon (197-1985, agency: AltusBasket) nailed a double-double by scoring 17 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and Bruno Levanic-Kutin (203-1996) accounted for 20 points and 5 rebounds. Samobor's coach Gjuro Simon used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game.
