Regular Season Round 7: Bisons - Karhubasket 85-80

We should mention about the upset which took place in Loimaa, where higher rankedKarhubasket (3-4) lost to eleventh ranked Bisons (2-5) in a road game 80-85 on Sunday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 27-18 . But Karhubasket won third quarter 21-12 . However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Bisons won last quarter 24-21 . It was a great evening for American DeVante Brooks (198, college: S.Arkansas, agency: Players Group) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. New Zealand forward Isaac Davidson (198-1997, college: Sonoma St.) helped adding 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. At the losing side American forward Samuel Givens (197-1989, college: Drexel) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import point guard Courtney Fortson (180-1988, college: Arkansas) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Bisons and four Karhubasket players scored in double figures. Bisons moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Lahti. Loser Karhubasket dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Vilpas and Kobrat.
